ASA Fees 2019

The annual renewal of Swim England (ASA) membership has come around again.  All members of the club must pay their membership fee to Swadlincote Swim Club for us to pay it onwards to Swim England.  Fees are due for renewal by 1st February.  In previous years this process has taken well into the summer to collect all fees and left the club out of pocket as the full fee of circa £5000 is due to Swim England on 1stFebruary.  Please can you pay your annual fee by BACS (With the simple reference “ASA” attached) or Cheque (payable to Swadlincote Swimming Club) by 1st February?  Fees this year have gone up slightly from last and are as follows:

Membership Level Fee Required
Category 1 (under 9 yrs on 1/1/19) £18.70
Category  2 (over 9yrs on 1/1/19) £36.25
Category  3 (Parent) £14.70

As a family with one swimmer you will need to pay for both swimmer and parent (for example £18.70 + £14.70 = £33.40 for an under 9 swimmer and parent).  If you need this fee clarified please email Adrian James the treasurer

Our current lap cards have served us well, however, it was time to invest in some new ones.

This is Ape heard about this and have kindly offered to sponsor the purchase of brand new acrylic lap cards for use.

The Committee would like to express our thanks for the generous offer.

It has been brought to our attention that swimmers are wearing fitness trackers.
After careful review, fitness trackers will not be permitted in the pool during any training sessions.
Swimmers who are wearing fitness trackers will not be permitted to swim until the fitness tracker is removed.
